SpongeBob's Boatmobiles was a SpongeBob SquarePants amusement ride. It opened at the Paramount's Great America theme park (as part of the Nickelodeon Central area) on March 29, 2003. The ride featured the testing boats from Mrs. Puff's Boating School, which visitors could sit in and move around in a similar fashion to the classic spinning teacup ride. The ride was closed on November 1, 2009, with it being re-themed to Peanuts Pirates for the following season.^[3] This is because the park's licensing contract with Nick had not been renewed.

Description

"Even though SpongeBob is still having trouble passing Mrs. Puff's Boating School, kids (and willing parents) can dive in and take a watery whirl in a SpongeBob speedboat."^[1]
