SquidHarp
SquidHarp is a harp version of Squidward Tentacles who appears in the episode "Plankton and the Beanstalk."
Description
SquidHarp is similar to the normal version of Squidward, except he wears a purple shirt and his tentacles are tied to a harp to make it into an instrument.
Role in episode
Giant Krabs takes SquidHarp out and uses his subpar musical output to get SpongeGoose to dance and lay a golden Krabby Patty.
Trivia
General
- Similar to Squidward, his musical talents are awful, although they're appreciated by SpongeGoose - just like how SpongeBob appreciates Squidward's work.
Cultural references
- He is a parody of the harp from the fairy tale "Jack and the Beanstalk."
- His role is similar to what Daffy Duck's was at the end of another Jack parody - the 1955 Merrie Melodies cartoon Beanstalk Bunny - a civilian being turned into a helpful object by the giant (in that case, Elmer Fudd).
