Texas
This state plays a major role in two episodes: the episode of the same name, and "Rodeo Daze." It is the main setting of the movie Saving Bikini Bottom: The Sandy Cheeks Movie.

"Texas"
Sandy feels homesick and thinks about how she wants to go back to Texas. SpongeBob and Patrick try to cheer her up with things such as Texas-themed parties, but it doesn't work.
While Sandy is about to get on the bus to her destination, Patrick tries to lure her back by mocking people from Texan, and SpongeBob joins in, leading to her chasing both of them. SpongeBob and Patrick both try to run to her surprise party. Sandy gets Patrick using the lasso, and soon catches SpongeBob at the front of the Krusty Krab. SpongeBob manages to hold on to the doorknob with his pinky finger. Sandy then pulls the lasso, tearing off the entire front of the building.
It is revealed Sandy's underwater friends care the most about her and have have a Texas-themed party. With Bikini Bottom as Sandy's real home, she makes the decision to stay.
"Prehibernation Week"
In the beginning of the episode, the map of Texas is formed when Sandy is all done raking up the leaves in her treedome.
"Pranks a Lot"
With Invisible Spray, a prank found by SpongeBob & Patrick in order to become invisible, they both frightened several people in Bikini Bottom, including Sandy.
For Sandy, she decides to move to Texas after her things in her treedome started moving by ghosts she realized.
"A Flea in Her Dome"
In the beginning of the episode, the state was mentioned when SpongeBob and Patrick both missed Sandy so much because she's in Texas for her science convention. They both decided to prepare for the welcome home party before Sandy gets back home.
"Pest of the West"
The state was mentioned when Sandy told SpongeBob that Rosie Cheeks, her relative, is the first squirrel to discover oil in Texas.
"Rodeo Daze"
The state was mentioned when Sandy read the letter that has been wrote by her twin brother, Randy Cheeks, that she must go to Texas because the rodeo is in town.
With SpongeBob realizing that it's too dangerous to fight rodeos, he tried to stop Sandy, but she didn't listen, so she left using the rocket she got from her suit.
With Sandy gone, SpongeBob tried to call everyone in Bikini Bottom using Superb Bubbles to capture them that Sandy he realized is in real trouble.
While everyone is in the bubble, the place of Texas appeared while they're arriving to that place, and everyone see Sandy riding a bullfrog. SpongeBob called out to her, but Sandy fell off, losing the rodeo. She told SpongeBob that the bullfrog is about to pop the huge bubble with everyone and SpongeBob's house inside, and he did. He then grabs SpongeBob by his mouth and Sandy then saved SpongeBob using the lasso.
Near the end of the episode, Sandy said to SpongeBob that next time, he must leave the rodeos to herself.
"Sportz?"
When Sandy challenges Squidward to a basketball match, she mentions San Antonio, a city in Texas.
"Sandy's Nutty Nieces"
Rosy Cheeks sent her triplet daughters to Sandy so she can relax up in Texas.
The state was seen during the ending when Macadamia, Hazelnut, and Pistachio got back to their mother.

Role in Saving Bikini Bottom: The Sandy Cheeks Movie
The state and Sandy's family finally makes their full real appearance in this movie. After the city's population are scooped by a giant aquatic machine and held captive at a marine biology lab, Sandy and SpongeBob set out on a journey that leads them to Galveston, Texas. Sandy enlists the help of her family who live nearby to help rescue everyone.

- SpongeBob forming into a map of Texas when Patrick calls him stupid became an internet meme.
- The movie Saving Bikini Bottom: The Sandy Cheeks Movie marks its first fully detailed appearance yet in the series. The only other time that Texas was shown was during the episode "Rodeo Daze," where SpongeBob and Patrick arrive at a race track to look for Sandy, though in this episode they are all depicted as photos of real life animals as part of the show's satire element.
