In 2021, Brad Vandergrift drew artwork for Kofi Dormah's Pearle Vision commercial they did in collaboration with Nickelodeon. The commercial consisted of SpongeBob SquarePants visiting his local optomofish center to replace his jellyfishing glasses. What initially filled him with dread became a source of joy for the little sponge, and ensured that he could get back to Jellyfish Fields with better vision than ever! The commercial was released online and on social media websites in August-September 2021, during the back-to-school season.
