Nicholas Robert "Nick" Jennings (born July 8, 1965; age 60) is a former SpongeBob SquarePants crew member who worked on seasons 1, 2, 3, and the first movie. After this, he would work as a background painter on two season 4 episodes before departing the series. He returned to the series after over twenty years as a background painter on the episode "A Fish Called Sandy" and is said to be providing freelance work on occasion.[1][2]
He is also known for his work on The Powerpuff Girls (2016 reboot) as an executive producer and director and his work on Adventure Time. In 1988, Nick Jennings did the layouts for A Pup Named Scooby-Doo while working at Colossal Pictures at San Francisco.
Accolades
In late 2013, it was announced that Jennings, along with several other members of the Adventure Time staff, had been nominated for an Annie Award for "Outstanding Achievement, Production Design in an Animated TV/Broadcast Production." On July 31, 2014, Jennings had won an Emmy for "Outstanding Individual Achievement In Animation" for his work on the Adventure Time episode "Wizards Only, Fools."

- In seasons 1 and 2, he was credited as Nicholas R. Jennings.
- However, in the first movie, he was credited as Nick Jennings.
