"Shock Horror (A)" was composed by Dick Walter, and has been widely known as the famous "dun-dun-dun" sound effect. "Shock Horror B , Shock Horror C, Shock Horror D, and Shock Horror E" haven't been used in the franchise. The main instruments used are brass, strings, timpani and cymbals.

- "Hiccup Plague" used the track and was produced in 2019, but did not air until 2022, after "Cabin of Curiosities."
"Shock Horror A" is the famous "dun-dun-dun" sound effect. The notes are Eb, C, and a F#.
Usually when this track plays, only the last note is heard. However, in most Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years episodes, The Patrick Star Show and The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water teaser #4, the full sting is heard.
