Person
Ernie Gilbert is a SpongeBob SquarePants crew member. He previously worked on a few episodes of season 9 of the main series, and was an art director on Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years and Plankton: The Movie.
Biography
Ernie Gilbert studied character animation at the California Institute of the Arts and theater at the University of Michigan, and has worked in the animation field since 1994. Gilbert was a character designer on the Cartoon Network series Dexter's Laboratory, The Powerpuff Girls, and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, and was an art director on The Fairly OddParents. He has been working at Nickelodeon Animation again since 2021.
