Chum Krabs, also known as Chummy, is a character who appears in "My Two Krabses."

Description

He is a sentient monster made from chum. He has two eyestalks, with only one eye on top of the left eyestalk. He has many tongues and tentacle-like appendages. When posing as Template:Data:Links, he has the shell and clothes of the original Mr. Krabs, but he has chum in his mouth and chum for legs.

Role in Episode

After Template:Data:Links and Template:Data:Links find Mr. Krabs' empty shell in a puddle of strawberry ice cream and think he melted, they buy chum from Plankton and use electricity to bring it to life, believing that they resurrected the real Mr. Krabs.  As Mr. Krabs had a date with Mrs. Puff to attend, they teach Chum Krabs how to act like the original Mr. Krabs and have him go on the date.

When the actual Mr. Krabs arrives at the restaurant and sees Chum Krabs dating Mrs. Puff, he tries to intervene but gets kicked out by SpongeBob and Patrick.  They accuse Mr. Krabs of being an imposter, until Template:Data:Links arrives and tells them that he is indeed the real Mr. Krabs.  SpongeBob and Patrick apologize, but Mr. Krabs is still angry and goes to beat up Chum Krabs.  SpongeBob and Patrick try to deescalate the situation, but to no avail. 

After getting punched by Mr. Krabs, Chum Krabs gets angry and fights back.  As the two crabs battle each other, Mr. Krabs manages to knock off Chum Krabs' shell just before getting grabbed by the monster's tentacles.  Chum Krabs lifts Mr. Krabs up and tries to throw him down, but without a shell Chum Krabs can't maintain a solid shape, so he collapses into a puddle before he can do any more harm.

With the conflict resolved, Mr. Krabs and Mrs. Puff happily resume their date, and SpongeBob and Patrick pour Chum Krabs into a metal barrel. They lament that Chum Krabs may not be the real Mr. Krabs, but he can still be their friend, to which Chum Krabs responds by hugging them with his tentacles and calling them his friends.

Trivia

• He is the first character in the series to be made of chum, the second being Chum monkey from "The Hankering."
  • Coincidentally, both characters are from Template:Data:Links episodes.
