Background
On March 12, 2024, Nickelodeon announced that the 2024 Kids' Choice Awards would be airing live on Nickelodeon on July 13, 2024, with the show's elements dedicated to the 25th silver anniversary of SpongeBob SquarePants.[1]
On May 22, 2024, it was revealed that the hosts of the 2024 Kids' Choice Awards would be SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star, making the first ceremony in history to be hosted by animated characters, in honor of the 25th anniversary of the main show.[2]
The nominees were announced and voting opened on June 4, 2024.[3]
