SNICK
Appearance
SNICK was a Saturday night block that debuted on August 15, 1992, airing animated and live-action shows that were either aimed at older kids or were some of Nickelodeon's more popular shows at the time. While SpongeBob SquarePants made its debut in 1999 for Saturday mornings, it reran its first morning premiere on SNICK the same night.[4] Over a year later, the series became a temporary fixture of the Saturday night block on December 2, 2000[5] scooping up to 8:00pm timeslot from The Amanda Show[15] (which itself moved to 8:30pm.[5]) During early 2001, new episodes of season 2 and the final episode of season 1 were aired, leading to one of the series' earliest events.

Trivia
- SNICK is short for "Saturday Night Nickelodeon."
- This event is home to the first rerun of the series.
- Before "Hooky" premiered with "Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy II" on March 3, the standalone segment premiered on February 23 during the Daily U-Pick.
- The 15-minute cut of "Shanghaied" featuring the chosen ending, and the version commonly seen in reruns, first aired on March 10, during the SNICK line-up.
- Before "Survival of the Idiots" and "Dumped" aired together for the first time on May 19, they first aired standalone on March 17 and May 11 respectively.
- The highest-rated episodes of this event were "Dying for Pie" and "Imitation Krabs," obtaining just over 3.43 million viewers, while the lowest-rated episodes were "Grandma's Kisses" and "Squidville" earning just under 2.09 million viewers.
Errors
- During the February 18, 2001 4:00pm encore of "Your Shoe's Untied" and "Squid's Day Off," as well as the April 1, 2001 4:00pm encore of "Dying for Pie" and "Imitation Krabs," the NickGAS screenbug was accidentally used, likely because that event occurred before this one on Sundays.
