Double Up was an event that occurred in Australia and New Zealand, starting weekend mornings with episodes of SpongeBob SquarePants, Rugrats and acquired programs such as Yvon of the Yukon and Generation O! from 6:00am to 10:00am. The block would premiere the start of season 3 of SpongeBob at 9:00am and air reruns on 9:30am.

• "The Great Snail Race," "Mid-Life Crustacean," "Born Again Krabs," "I Had an Accident," "Missing Identity," "Krabby Land," "The Camping Episode," "Missing Identity," "Plankton's Army," "SpongeBob Meets the Strangler," and "Pranks a Lot" premiered in this event before they premiered in the United States.
  • This makes Australia and New Zealand the third and fourth countries to air nearly all of season 3, since after South Korea and Canada.
• The only season 3 episodes that didn't premiere in this event are "Party Pooper Pants", "Ugh", and "The Sponge Who Could Fly", these episodes didn't premiere until 2003 and 2004.
