Awesome Night of Premieres
Awesome Night of Premieres was an event that occurred in the United Kingdom and Ireland on November 4, 2011. The event marked the premiere of "Big Sister Sam" and "Perfect Chemistry" in those countries, as well as a sneak peek of Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness and the premiere of the "mega-movie" Happy Feet on the network.[1]
Production
On October 21, 2011, it would be revealed by television schedule guide Digiguide that film-based Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness would premiere in the UK and Ireland on November 4 at 5:30pm, and it would later replay at 8:30pm.[2] On October 25, the official Sky Media website announced that two new episodes of SpongeBob would come to the UK (the aforementioned "Big Sister Sam" and "Perfect Chemistry") and would premiere at 5:00pm.[3] On Halloween, it would be announced via a Nickelodeon promo, the 2006 film Happy Feet was announced to premiere on the network, and all of these debuts would form into a block entitled "Awesome Night of Premieres."[4]
