Gameplay
In this game, the player controls Template:Data:Links's boat and has to finish the course without crashing or hitting any obstacles. Press the arrow key to drive forward, press the down arrow key to reverse, press the right arrow key to lean forward, and press the left arrow key to lean back. In total, there are five levels.

Trivia
- If the player manages to beat all five levels, it takes the player back to the first level of the game.
- If the player reaches the next level, the player gains an extra life.
- The boatmobile that SpongeBob uses has the number 18 written on it, just like in the episode "Boating School."
- Mrs. Puff only appears on the "Game over" screen and she is inflated.
- There is a sequel to this game called Boat-O-Cross 2.
- The game contains off-screen nodes, which read "GAME," "UI," and "AUDIO." It also contains an asset pre-loader and the dummy leaderboard name "Kaith." They are impossible to be seen without decompiling the game.[1]
