In this game, the player controls a telescope-shaped launcher to launch snail shells at the Puffy Fluffs to get rid of them. The player may have to knock down walls or other obstacles to reach them. Some shells offer power ups like explosions. After completing a level, the player is awarded with a bronze, silver, or gold shell, depending on what score the player has attained.
Shells
Pink shell - no power
Yellow shell - descends downwards
Green shell - expands then rolls
Purple shell - creates a vortex and throws objects away
Unlike in "A Pal for Gary," none of the Puffy Fluffs growl or turn into big monsters.
After all the Puffy Fluffs are eliminated, any unused snail shells are converted into bonus points at the end of the level.
In order to get the bonus levels, it requires:
12 bronze rewards to unlock Bonus Level 1.
12 silver rewards to unlock Bonus Level 2.
12 gold rewards to unlock Bonus Level 3.
Cultural references
This game is similar to Angry Birds, a Rovio app series. Gary and the snail shells act as the birds, while the Puffy Fluffs act as the pigs and the main goal is to get rid of them by launching shells into the structures.
The black shell has the same color and ability as Bomb from Angry Birds, as of the game's creation.
Coincidentally, the yellow shell has the same ability as either Tony or Poppy, who debuted in Angry Birds after the release of Gary's Revenge.
