The Kah-Rah-Tay Squid
The Kah-Rah-Tay Squid is a SpongeBob SquarePants online game. It is based on "Squid Defense."
The game was released on December 31, 2012.[1]
Gameplay
The player controls Squidward as he walks down a counter covered with various items. The player can click to make Squidward karate chop an item, and can use the arrow keys to move him left or right. Every item chopped rewards points. The player also has three lives, which are lost when Squidward chops a clam. He can earn extra lives by chopping a heart power-up.
After Squidward reaches certain points of the counter, the game will enter "Chopping Frenzy" mode. Squidward has to destroy a certain amount of objects (that now take three chops to destroy) within a time limit in order to advance, otherwise he will lose and have to restart. If Squidward reaches the end of the counter, he will move onto the next level.
There is a meter called the "Rage Gauge" which fills up when Squidward chops an object (however, it automatically drains overtime). When it is completely filled, Squidward will become enraged and gain more points when chopping an object. He will also be invulnerable to damage and will instantly destroy objects with only one chop during Chopping Frenzy mode. If Squidward chops a Super Strength power-up, he will instantly fill the Rage Gauge.
