Bomb-Bots are robots that appear as an enemy in the console versions of the video game Battle for Bikini Bottom and in Battle for Bikini Bottom: Rehydrated. It then later makes a cameo in The Cosmic Shake.

Description

A Bomb-Bot has the appearance of a bomb and behaves like an Arf Dawg. It has a single green eye. Bomb-Bots also have an antenna that sticks out the top of their head; this antenna is given a red glow in the original version and does not glow in the remake.

Battle for Bikini Bottom/Battle for Bikini Bottom: Rehydrated

Bomb-Bots are very rare enemies in the game as the seventh robot Template:Data:Links, Template:Data:Links and Template:Data:Links encounter in their adventures. They appear frequently in Template:Data:Links in Bikini Bottom but are seldom seen elsewhere. Other levels they appear in are Rock Bottom, the Mermalair, Sand Mountain, and the Flying Dutchman's Graveyard.

Their behavior is self-explanatory. Once a Bomb-Bot spots SpongeBob, Patrick and/or Sandy, it will set its timer and chase them until it explodes, although they can defeat this robot before that occurs, receiving fifteen Shiny Objects in the process. The Bomb-Bot will still explode, however, and no Shiny Objects are awarded.

In the remake, Bomb-Bots keep their distance, decreasing the chances of them being hit by SpongeBob, Patrick and/or Sandy.

The Cosmic Shake

An inactive Bomb-Bot is seen in a pile of junk at Glove World, when Kassandra's wagon magically appears. Template:Data:Links then takes a blank look at it before he tosses it aside, causing it to explode on impact.

Trivia

• Their attack pattern and name is similar to that of a Bob-omb in the Super Mario series' 3D games.
