The object of the game is to help SpongeBob get the bubble past Patrick. One must use their mouse to move SpongeBob up and down to reach the ball. When one scores three times, the round is won, and the player advances to the next. In higher rounds, the ball moves faster and all sorts of strange things start to happen.
The counter on the left side of the gameplay screen can only fit 1-digit numbers. For example, if the player reaches round 10, the round counter will display it as 0 cutting off the 1 part.
There is a total of 10 rounds in the game. After round 10, the rounds repeat themselves.
