Template:Song The "Campfire Song Song" is a song that Template:Data:Links sings in "The Camping Episode." Template:Data:Links sings as well, but he cannot catch up because SpongeBob is singing far too fast, so he instead resorts to playing the drums near the end.

Trivia

  • On the year of its release in Australia, Nickelodeon Australia made a competition for all kids around Australia, which was whoever could sing the song fastest (by taking a video of themselves singing it and posting it for the competition) would win a multitude of SpongeBob SquarePants merchandise.
  • The song is mentioned again in "Frozen Face-Off" and Template:Data:Links acts annoyed.
  • In the French dub, the song isn't translated.
  • This song is featured in the Family Guy episode "Road to Rupert," in which Peter Griffin watches the episode's scene where SpongeBob and Patrick sing the song. The song was written by Dan Povenmire, who was a director on that Family Guy episode.
  • Because of this, he was able to gain the rights to his own song.
  • It is revealed by Tom Kenny no artificial speed filters were used for the part where SpongeBob sings very fast, thus revealing that Tom Kenny can sing very speedily.
  • The tune is based on the children's tune "Mrs. O'Leary's Cow," which is about the rumor that a cow knocked over a lantern that caused the Great Chicago Fire of 1871.[citation needed]
