Template:EventCrush Week was an event that occurred throughout the tail-end of the first and the entirety of the second week of February 2011. The block premiered and reran episodes from various ongoing Nickelodeon programming, including five new episodes of Nicktoons on Saturday February 12, with SpongeBob SquarePants airing in the 9:30am timeslot.[1]
The block was kicked off on February 5, 2011 with primetime premieres of Victorious, Big Time Rush, and True Jackson in a block hosted by Justin Bieber, which drew a total of 9 million viewers to the network.[2] Throughout the week, encores of Valentine's Day-themed episodes from various Nickelodeon live-action shows would air as a part of the event during the week,[3] alongside the premiere of the Big Time Rush music video "Boyfriend."[4] This would lead up to the premiere of new episodes from Nicktoons and sitcoms on the 12th,[1] as well as the premiere of the Miranda Cosgrove music video "Dancing Crazy" and a rerun of the 2008 movie Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging on the 13th.[5]
Despite this event being thened around Valentine's Day, this event ironically ended one day before it.
This block is similar to the "Secret Crush Weekend" event from 2010, having a similar concept and name, as well as also premiering new episodes on Saturday mornings.
