Person

Marc Scott Ceccarelli (born January 4, 1968; age 57) is one of the SpongeBob SquarePants crew members. He began working on SpongeBob in mid-2010, writing a total of 20 episodes. Marc Ceccarelli was originally paired up with Luke Brookshier, following the departure of Nate Cash.

He originally left the show in the middle of season 9, but came back in 2015 to work as the show's animatic director. Starting with "Patrick! The Game," he is now the showrunner and executive producer along with Vincent Waller. He is also known for his work on the Cartoon Network series Uncle Grandpa as a crew member and Phineas and Ferb and The Drinky Crow Show as a writer and storyboard artist.

He won the 2018 British Academy Children's Awards in International Animation and the 2018 Daytime Emmy Award in Outstanding Children's Animated Series for his work on SpongeBob.[1][2][3]

Near the end of season 12, he and Vincent began directing new episodes of the series, beginning with: "Who R Zoo?"; this being officially that they already became supervising directors as well.
