Rock Collector
Gameplay
The player stars as an unnamed anchovy, who becomes a rock collector with the help of SpongeBob and his friends. Using a pick axe, the player digs out rocks from mines, which contain various rocks, gemstones, and fossils modelled after various characters, objects, and buildings from the series. The player can only carry a certain amount of rocks at a time before they need to head back above ground.
These treasures are worth certain amounts of money, which the player can use to buy clothes and upgrade their equipment, which the player needs to do in order to progress to the later mines. Along with their upgradable pick axe, the player can climb upwards using a grappling hook, though they can jump up small ledges.
While digging, the player can find several things other than rocks, like tunnels that lead to secrets, ladders that lead deeper into mines, friendly characters that help the player, and enemies that damage the player. If the player has all their health depleted, they lose.

Walkthrough
Rock Collector has a debug menu. To access it, the player must press Shift, Q, and E at the same time during gameplay. Six options are presented:
- Clear Progress: Clears the player's progress, including their upgrades, unlocked mines, and rock collection.
- Skip Tutorial: Skips the starting tutorial.
- Open All Locations: Allows the player to visit every mine. This option only works if the player is in a mine, and will do nothing if pressed on the shop screen.
- Add 10000 Gold: Incrementally adds 10000 gold to the player's inventory.
- Test Reveal: Plays out an opening of 8 rocks. Gems from all mines are used.
- Unlock All Rocks: Adds all rocks to the player's collection.
Additionally, the player can press Ctrl to toggle the music, although this is not stated in-game.
Trivia
- If the player digs to the very bottom of a mine, they will be able to see various locations (for example, digging to the bottom of a Rock Bottom mine reveals a rundown version of Conch Street with eerie green smoke coming out of SpongeBob's house).
- Each rock has a name with a rock-related pun in it (the jellyfish-shaped rock, for example, is named the Jellyflint).
Glitches
"-4/4" Amount Glitch - To have this happen, the player must have a amount of rocks by 1 up to 8, then press Shift + Q + E, then press "Test Reveal", and open all the rocks for a special glitch.
