Appearances
Patchy the Pirate (who is portrayed and voiced by Tom Kenny) was created as a multimedia host who would most notably appear in various commercials and bumpers, acting as a "bridge" between the actual episodes and the tie-in promotions. Because of this, most of his appearances are outside of the show's episodes. He still makes occasional appearances in the live-action segments of specials, but the vast majority of his screen time is in on-air promotional materials. When viewers only look at Patchy's in-episode appearances, they miss almost all of his actual backstory.
This page lists Patchy's appearances in any media throughout the seasons, including promos, marathons, bumpers, and episodes themselves. Please note that this list is incomplete because footage of many older Nickelodeon events is rare.
