  • The entire "Camp Fire Song Song" scene was frequently shown during commercial breaks in the summer of 2003 (earliest reported sightings were in May).[1][2] Despite this, the full episode did not premiere in the United States until April 2004.
  • In 2003 in Australia, Nickelodeon Australia made a competition for all children around Australia, which was whoever could sing the song the fastest by taking a video of themselves singing it and posting it for the competition would win a multitude of SpongeBob SquarePants merchandise.[citation needed]
