Although previously mentioned, the patties did not make an appearance until the episode "Pressure." It is shown in a grease variant in the episode "Greasy Buffoons," and a non-greasy version of the sandwich is seen in "The Algae's Always Greener."

- Krabby Patties have already existed with the word deluxe in its name, including the Krabby Deluxe often found on the Galley Grub and the Krabby Double Deluxe from the episode, "Pressure." Despite them existing prior, in "Greasy Buffoons," a customer stated, "...something called a Deluxe Krabby Patty?"
- The Deluxe Krabby Patty is very similar to the McDonald's Big Mac.
