The "F.U.N. Song" is a song about friendship that SpongeBob sings to Plankton in an attempt to teach him about the underlying qualities of what friendship really means, in the episode "F.U.N."

It was performed at Paramount Parks, but with a few modifications. It is also featured on the Original Theme Highlights and SpongeBob's Greatest Hits albums.

The instrumental of this song is used in the title card for "F.U.N."
In the Croatian dub, 'F.' stands for "Frend," translating to "Friend," 'U.' stands for "Zauvijek," translating to "Forever," and 'N.' stands for "Nikad," translating to "Never."^[2]
In the French dub, 'F.' stands for "Farces," which translates to "Pranks."^[3]
In "Plankton's Diary: Plankton's Evil Plan," Plankton sings the song by himself.
This song can be heard in the toy Swap-N-Bop SpongeBob depending on which hat is placed on it.
The clams' mouths do not move in sync with the song.
The instrumental version of this song originally accompanied the SpongeBob balloon at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, until around 2014 when it was replaced by an instrumental arrangement of the theme song.
