NFL Nickmas Game
NFL Nickmas Game was an event that occurred on December 25, 2022 which led from the 12 Days of Nickmas event.[1] During this event, Nickelodeon aired a kid-oriented, network-themed edition of the Denver Broncos v. the Los Angeles Rams football game. Patrick often appeared virtually, giving out his own live commentary. This event also marks the debut of Christmas football telecasts on Nickelodeon, and the event returned on December 25, 2023 of the Las Vegas Raiders Vs. the Kansas City Chiefs in its home Arrowhead Stadium.[2][3]
Trivia
- This is the last event to occur in 2022 along with 12 Days of Nickmas.
- This was also the last event to occur in 2023 along with Nickmas Party.
- Leading up to the game, Nickelodeon's social media accounts posted a promotional poster allowing one to build a football team of fan-favorite Nickelodeon characters.[4]
- Unlike the "Slime Time!" and "Favorite Animated Show" shorts, this uses a different Patrick CGI model.
- This event has had 906,000 views, making it the second most watched telecast on the network for 2022, only behind another football game that was broadcast in January.[5]
- There is also an event of the same name hosted by Gamefam Studios on Roblox in which the Roblox event as it happened on December 14, 2023 and ended on December 25, 2023.[6]
- This also happened with the Super Bowl LVIII: Live from Bikini Bottom.
