Smell-O-Vision
Appearance
Smell-O-Vision was an hour-long block of Nickelodeon weeknight reruns and premieres, mainly based around the gimmick of smelling the aromas found in the ongoing program. This was accomplished by obtaining special scratch-and sniff cards found in select Kraft Products.[1] Running during the third week of September 1999, it was the second event to air SpongeBob SquarePants, and the first to premiere new episodes of the series. The entire event reran the next week, from Monday through Friday between 4:00pm and 5:00pm.[1]

- The symbol that signaled one to "sniff" at the bottom right part of the screen was filmed along with the episodes "Sandy's Rocket" and "Squeaky Boots" in American TV airings, and not edited out until late 2002, almost three years after the scratch-and-sniff card packs were put out of circulation.[16]
- The "Smell-O-Vision" screen-bugged print of "Squeaky Boots" was used on the Nicktoons Collection Volume 3 Game Boy Advance Video release in 2005.
