The Seventh & Eighth Seasons is a SpongeBob SquarePants compilation DVD set that was released on June 7, 2022[3][4] and contains all of the episodes from the seventh and eighth seasons. This is the sequel to The Fifth & Sixth Seasons DVD that was also released on the same date.

General
- "SpongeBob's Last Stand," "The Great Patty Caper," "Frozen Face-Off," "A SquarePants Family Vacation," "Ghoul Fools," "It's a SpongeBob Christmas!," and "Hello Bikini Bottom!" are all counted as double-length episodes.
- "It's a SpongeBob Christmas!" is the only episode from season 8 to be presented in a widescreen format. On this DVD, the episode "It's a SpongeBob Christmas!" is actually in full screen 4:3 letterbox with black bars on the top and bottom rather than true widescreen.
Errors
- The DVD description for "The Curse of Bikini Bottom" says that SpongeBob and Patrick disturbed the Flying Dutchman's slumber. This is wrong, because they cut off his beard and did not disturb his slumber.
- The DVD description for "Squidward in Clarinetland" is missing the period at the end of the sentence.
- In the episode "One Coarse Meal," when SpongeBob and Pearl both say, "Huh?," the closed-captioning refers to it as "(confused babbling)."

- On the episode listing and the disc 3 episode selection screen, "Sponge-Cano!" is listed as "Sponge-Cano," missing the exclamation point at the end of the title.
