Basis for the cover.

The cover of this VHS tape is based on the episode "Party Pooper Pants."
- The cover is also based on promo art created for "Party Pooper Pants," but with the VHS tape's cover having a different background, SpongeBob's arms in a different position, and more detailed shading.
The back cover of this VHS tape contains pictures from the episodes "Party Pooper Pants" and "Valentine's Day."
"I Had an Accident" was released on this VHS tape and the Tales from the Deep DVD nine months before premiering on American television.

A sticker that is on sealed copies of the tape.

On some sealed copies of this VHS tape, there's a sticker that says, "Contains An Exclusive Cartoon." "I Had an Accident" will not air on TV before March 2003!"
Interestingly, the demo version of this VHS tape uses the 2002 Paramount 90th anniversary logo and "Feature Presentation" bumper ID while the normal VHS tape uses the 1986-2003 Paramount logo. See below for more details.
This and Deep Sea Sillies are the first SpongeBob SquarePants VHS releases to use the Nickelodeon fish logo in the opening.
This VHS tape includes previews for other Nickelodeon DVDs and VHS tapes. These include a promo for other Nickelodeon DVDs and VHS tapes, The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius DVDs and VHS tapes, Tak and the Power of Juju video game trailer, and SpongeBob SquarePants: Nautical Nonsense, Sponge Buddies, and Nautical Nonsense and Sponge Buddies on VHS and DVD.
- The previews from this VHS tape are the same exact previews as SpongeBob SquarePants: Deep Sea Sillies 2003 VHS tape.
This is the first SpongeBob SquarePants VHS tape to be released in 2003.
This is the first SpongeBob VHS tape to contain a double-length episode.
- This is also the first VHS tape to contain four episodes instead of five, because the first episode, "Party Pooper Pants," is a double-length episode.
SpongeBob's line "Seriously?," followed by the "We'll be right back" announcement is removed from the episode "Party Pooper Pants" this VHS tape because there are no commercials on the VHS.

The Nickelodeon "haystack" logo.

Despite the fact this VHS tape was released in 2003, the Nickelodeon Haystack logo at the end of the closing credits has a copyright date of 2002.
- When one buys the promotional copy of this tape, they will see the Paramount 90th anniversary logo on there that it is from 2002 before 2003. One can also find the "Paramount 90th Anniversary Feature Presentation" bumper ID and logo inside of the tape when you put it in the VCR. Deep Sea Sillies and Rugrats: Mysteries VHS tapes keeps using the Paramount 90th anniversary logo, but only on select prints. The promotional copies of these tapes have the same thing.
- This is because VHS tapes are usually manufactured ahead of time before their release date. This and Deep Sea Sillies were manufactured in late 2002, and weren't released until 2003.
- The Canadian copy of this VHS tape uses the 1986 Paramount logo.
The label on the VHS tape has the words "Bob" and "Pants" in the name SpongeBob SquarePants not capitalized. This is also the case with Deep Sea Sillies and the demo VHS tapes of Nautical Nonsense, Halloween, and Sea Stories.
The demo VHS tape claims that this has five episodes, when it really has four. This was corrected to say four on the final release.
