- The cover of this VHS tape is based on the episode "The Sponge Who Could Fly."
- This is the first SpongeBob SquarePants VHS tape to use the name of an episode as the title.
- The back cover of this VHS tape contains pictures from the episodes "Plankton!" and "Boating School."
- "The Sponge Who Could Fly" is the only season 3 episode, while the other episodes are from season 1. The episode also appeared on this VHS tape 17 days before it aired on American television.
- On some sealed copies of this VHS tape, there's a sticker that says "Contains an Exclusive Cartoon." "The Sponge Who Could Fly" will not air on TV between March 21, 2003 and June 2003." This same sticker is also used on some sealed copies of Lost at Sea DVD.

Errors
