SpongeGuard on Duty is a SpongeBob SquarePants VHS tape that was released on June 1, 2004 and contains two episodes from season 1, two episodes from season 2, and one episode from season 3.

On the back cover, a small screenshot from the episode "Doing Time" is seen. However, that episode is not on this VHS tape, but it is on the DVD version and the UK release, so that explains why there is a screenshot from said episode.
Both orange-colored and black-colored copies of this tape exist. Orange-colored Nickelodeon tapes became rare after 2001, so the black copies are far more common. An EP mode version of this tape is also known to exist.
This VHS tape includes previews for various shows and other Nickelodeon DVDs and VHS tapes. These include The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, All Grown Up!: Lucky 13 DVD and VHS tape, older SpongeBob SquarePants DVDs and VHS tapes, The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius DVDs and VHS tapes, and G.I. Joe: Valor vs. Venom.
Just like the Absorbing Favorites VHS tape, "Jellyfish Hunter" is the last episode on this VHS tape.
This is the first SpongeBob SquarePants VHS tape to not be released in the Netherlands for rental.
There is a DVD version of this VHS tape that was released on the same day.
- The UK version has the same amount of episodes as the DVD, but the U.S. version of the VHS tape has less episodes.
