Reception

• DVD-Forum.at called this a DVD "that can be recommended to young and old without any restrictions. The quality of the DVD is very good, only the lack of extras spoils the overall impression a bit."

• The back cover of this DVD contains pictures from the following episodes:

• The DVD was released in September despite being winter-themed.
• This DVD contains previews for various shows and movies. These include Rugrats Go Wild, older SpongeBob DVDs and VHS tapes, The Wild Thornberrys Movie, The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius DVDs and VHS tapes, and Tak and the Power of Juju.
• Advertisements in the DVD case are ads for other Nickelodeon VHS tapes and DVDs. These include Rugrats: Christmas (VHS only), SpongeBob SquarePants: Tide and Seek (DVD only), SpongeBob SquarePants: Tales from the Deep (DVD only), SpongeBob SquarePants: Lost at Sea (DVD only), and Rugrats: Mysteries (VHS and DVD). • This 2003 release of the DVD shows the uncut version of "Procrastination," since the DVD was released before the scene was edited out in May 2005. The 2008 reprint features the edited version.
• At some point, this DVD set and It's a SpongeBob Christmas! were released in a bundle called the Christmas DVD Double Pack.

• In the cover of the Philippine release, the word episodes is spelled as episodess, with an extra letter S.
