- The "SpongeBob, Football Star!" video storybook is similar to the SpongeBob, Soccer Star! book that was published in 2010.
- This is because in the UK and other countries outside of the US, Canada, Italy, Japan, and Australia, soccer is known as "football." Therefore, the book is also called "SpongeBob, Football Star!" in other countries.
- This DVD is rated PG in the UK for mild language and crude humor.
- This is the first SpongeBob SquarePants DVD to include an episode where Template:Data:Links plays a major role since SpongeBob vs. The Big One.
