There is a sequel to this collection named The Best of SpongeBob SquarePants: Part 2.
This was the first official SpongeBob SquarePants TV Series DVD to be released in Israel.
The episodes on the DVD were chosen by an internet vote on Nickelodeon Israel's website.
Unlike most SpongeBob DVDs in Israel, this one uses the Hebrew text for the intro and episodes, instead of the English versions.
All of the "BobSfog MichnasMeruba: Ha'Metav" DVDs use the same setup menu.
The Hebrew version of the SpongeBob SquarePants Theme Song is heard on the main menu and scene selection menu.
- There is also the theme song video "inside" a window.
