The Complete Thirteenth Season is a SpongeBob SquarePants DVD box set that was released on December 5, 2023 and contains all 52 episodes from season 13, as well as The Tidal Zone special.

Description

Dive into The Complete Thirteenth Season featuring tales of nautical nonsense with SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward, and all the other citizens of Bikini Bottom! See what happens when Mr. Krabs learns that pets are more profitable than their owners. Then Squidward fakes being sick to get out of work, Karen tells a fairytale, and SpongeBob and Patrick take Squidward to a tropical resort. Next, Squidward hosts a 'We Hate SpongeBob Club' and Sandy's homemade snacks become a big hit at the Krusty Krab. This release also includes The Tidal Zone: A SpongeBob Universe Special.

Same stock arts of Squidward and Patrick reused from the spine of The Complete 1st Season DVD.
  • The images of Squidward on the backside and Patrick in the audio options menu are reused from the spine of The Complete 1st Season DVD, except with oil-painted designs.
  • The menu designs are reused from The Complete Twelfth Season, except the menus on this release lack episode preview images, the series logo, and season label on the main menus.
    • However, Nickelodeon's future DVD releases are likely to follow this formatting of their menus, as any and all releases after this box set share the same menu style.
  • This DVD was released one month and four days after the season had completed broadcast on television. This is the shortest amount of time that it has taken for a full season to be released on DVD after it finished airing on television.
  • This is the first SpongeBob SquarePants DVD for several things:
    • The first SpongeBob SquarePants season DVD release to use the 2018-present day version of the show logo instead of the 2009-2017 version.
    • The first SpongeBob season DVD since The Complete 2nd Season to have the Paramount logo opening at the beginning of each disc.
    • The first SpongeBob season DVD where a few episodes are missing additional language dubs, as previous season/volume sets either included them on all episodes, or none at all.
      • The third disc has no French and Spanish audio on the last two episode segments, while the fourth disc only has English audio (except for The Tidal Zone special which has French and Spanish audio).
        • This is due to the fact that the DVD set was announced when many of the episodes had not completed their dubbing at the time.
      • This previously occurred on The Patrick Star Show Season 1, Volume 1 DVD.
  • This is the second SpongeBob season DVD to not have music on any of the menus. The first is The Complete Eighth Season.
  • This, Kamp Koral Season 1, Volume 2, and The Patrick Star Show Season 1, Volume 2 are the only SpongeBob-related DVDs to be released in 2023.
    • All three of these DVD box sets released on the same exact day contain The Tidal Zone special as a special feature.
    • In addition, these are the first SpongeBob-related DVDs to use the 2023 Nickelodeon logo.
  • On the DVD description on the backside, the following episodes are referenced:

  • On the episode listing inside of the case, "SquidBird" is incorrectly listed as "Squidbird," with a lowercase "b" instead of a capital "B."
