Gameplay
The game is a side-scrolling game similar to the GBA SpongeBob games. The player takes control of SpongeBob, and Patrick. As the Didj console is made to learn for children, the subject the game focuses on is math. There are times that you'll have to put the right number on the math problems to continue.
Five other video games featuring SpongeBob were released that same year.
This is the last video game to use the old SpongeBob SquarePants logo on the box art, before switching over to the new series logo.
This is the only SpongeBob SquarePants video game to be released for the Didj console, unless the crossover game Nicktoons: Android Invasion is included.
