Nicktoons & The Dice of Destiny is an upcoming Nickelodeon crossover role-playing video game. It was announced during the Summer Game Fest 2025[2] and will be released on September 30, 2025. It will be developed by Fair Play Labs and Petit Fabrik and published by GameMill Entertainment.

A Collector's Edition along with a DLC called "Wardrobe of Wonder" was announced on July 21, 2025.[5]

The Collector's Edition will contain the following:

  • Nicktoons & The Dice of Destiny game
  • "Wardrobe of Wonder" DLC Code (unlocks a new costume for each playable character)
  • Wooden Dice Tray with Storage Compartment
  • Custom Dice Set and Travel Pouch

General

  • This marks the first of a few things in a Nickelodeon crossover game:
    • The first role-playing game.
    • The first GameMill Entertainment game to use the name "Nicktoons" in its title, as well as the first game to use the name "Nicktoons" in the title since Nicktoons MLB. Likewise, this marks Katara's first playable appearance since Nicktoons MLB.
    • The first game to have playable characters from two different franchises, properly interacting with each other since Nicktoons: Globs of Doom.
    • The first appearances of The Fairly OddParents! in a console game since Nicktoons: Attack of the Toybots. It is also the first GameMill Entertainment game to include The Fairly OddParents! characters.
    • The first game to use the new 2023 Nickelodeon logo on the box art.
    • The first time the 2012 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series has been represented in a crossover game since Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2: Grand Prix.
    • The first GameMill Entertainment game to not have Reptar as a playable appearance.
    • The first crossover game where Ember, Azula, and Angelica appear as bosses. Likewise, this marks the first GameMill Entertainment title in which Cheryl Chase portrays as Angelica.
  • SpongeBob SquarePants is so far the only series in which has more than one playable characters.
  • Plankton is so far the only known boss to not be a member of Flame Fatale.

Episode references

  • Due to the game being set in medieval times, there are multiple references to "Dunces and Dragons."
    • SpongeBob's outfit is based on his appearance in the namesake episode.
    • Sandy's "Wardrobe of Wonder" outfit is also based on the episode.
    • Bikini Bottomshire is one of the featured worlds.
    • The Dragon jellyfish is one of the featured enemies
    • Plankton and Karen's designs are based on the episode, as well as the episode "King Plankton."
  • SpongeBob's dance animation is the same one seen in "Band Geeks."
  • SpongeBob's "Ol' Reliable" skill uses Ol' Reliable first seen in "Nature Pants."
  • SpongeBob's "Pretty Patty" skill uses the Pretty Patties from "Patty Hype."
  • SpongeBob's "Goofy Goober" skill is the same one seen in The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie.
  • Sandy's fish skull-belt buckle is a nod to Smitty Werbenjägermanjensen from the episode: "One Krabs Trash".
  • Sandy's "Hibernation Mode" skill is based on her hibernation from "Survival of the Idiots."
  • Sandy's "Texas!" skill is based on the episode of the same name.
  • SpongeBob and Katara doing the "Who put you on the planet?" dance is a reference to "I ♥ Dancing."
  • The Spongehenge statues from the episode of the same name appears in Barnacle Thicket (albeit redesign to resemble SpongeBob as he appeared in "Dunces and Dragons").
  • The "P&P" board game from "Mid-Life Crustacean" appears amongst the scenery of Barnacle Thicket.
  • SpongeBob's "Wardrobe of Wonder" outfit is inspired by the episode "Rule of Dumb."
