Template:Italic title Template:Image-quality Template:VTab Template:VG The Nintendo DS version of Creature from the Krusty Krab is a 2D platformer SpongeBob SquarePants video game released for the Nintendo DS. It is developed by WayForward Technologies and published by THQ. Much like its home console counterpart, this game stars Template:Data:Links, Patrick Star, and Sheldon J. Plankton as it takes place inside their dreams.

Gameplay

The Nintendo DS version is a more simplified 2D platformer that relies heavily on the touch screen. The characters are controlled by swiping them on the direction the player wants them to go while also interacting with the environment. Unique to the Nintendo DS version are cutscenes animated in the style of the show that play at the start and end of each stage.

Synopsis

The overall plot is similar the console counterparts. However, there are some differences to the story and the way the levels are ordered.

Krusty Krumb - This level is a fusion between Supersized Patty and Revenge of the Giant Plankton Monster.

Rooftop Rumble is replaced by Shrink Ray Parts and takes place before Run Away, It Came from Bikini Bottom.
