The Complete Sixth Season is a SpongeBob SquarePants DVD box set that was released on November 13, 2012 and contains all 47 episodes from season 6. It is a re-releases of season 6 volumes 1 and 2 DVDs box set.
Description
It's an entire season of hilarious SpongeBob firsts! He's round, tanned, and boringly normal! General
- "SpongeBob SquarePants vs. The Big One," "Truth or Square," and "The Clash of Triton" are all counted as double-length episodes. However, "Truth or Square" is counted as six chapters on this DVD due to its length, so it is chapters 10-15 on disc 2.
- This is the longest season DVD with four discs, but the second longest season DVD overall.
- This DVD uses the extended 59 minute version of "Truth or Square," but only on the North American/Region 1 release. International releases of this DVD use an alternate version of "Truth or Square." It removes almost all Patchy segments and shortens the episode's running time from 59 minutes to 44 minutes (this version is shown in every country). This version is also used in reruns.
- This is the third season DVD to have two sister episodes on separate discs. The first was The Complete Fourth Season, and the second was The Complete Fifth Season.
- "Truth or Square" is the only episode from season 6 to be presented in a widescreen format. On this DVD, the episode "Truth or Square" is actually in full screen 4:3 letterbox with black bars on the top and bottom rather than true widescreen. On The Pilot a Mini-Movie and the Square Shorts DVD, however, the episode is in true widescreen, filling the 16:9 display sets that the episode was produced in. However, The Pilot a Mini-Movie and the Square Shorts DVD uses the original 51 minute version of "Truth or Square" instead of the extended version found on this DVD.
- The Japanese DVD has more characters than just SpongeBob on the cover. That release is also titled "The Complete 6th Season."
- On June 7, 2022, this DVD set and The Complete Fifth Season were released together in a bundle called The Fifth & Sixth Seasons.
- On the DVD description on the backside, the following episodes are referenced:

Errors
- Despite being the first episode of the season, "House Fancy" is not the first episode on this DVD; "Spongicus" is the first episode instead.
- The episodes are not listed by packaging order nor airing order. Instead, the episodes are listed by the order used on the season 6 compilation DVDs:

- In the episode selection on disc 4, the image for "Overbooked" is not from that episode; the image is actually the same one used for "Porous Pockets."
- The image is shown twice on the episode selection on discs 3 and 4.
- On the backside, "Pet or Pests" is mistakenly listed as "Pets or Pests."
- The description for "Truth or Square" is missing a space between "Krab's" and "eleventy," making the two one continuous word.
- In the closed-captioning version of "The Card," when SpongeBob says, "Dear Neptune!" while freaking out about Patrick possibly putting the #54 card in his pocket, the closed-captioning says, "Damn, Neptune!"
- This closed-captioning mistake also happens on SpongeBob's Truth or Square, Season 6 Volume 2, Triple Pack 1, Big Hits: Volume 1, Next 100 Episodes, The Best 200 Episodes Ever, The Fifth & Sixth Seasons, and The Best 300 Episodes Ever DVDs.
