List of repackaged episodes
This is a list of SpongeBob SquarePants episodes that have repackaged and paired with different episodes.
As segments of the series are completed, they are paired into 22-minute episode blocks, subsequently labeled with a packaging number. As early as season 1, episodes of the series have been rearranged from their original pair, and in some cases, repaired with another episode. These changes are often unknown, although it often has to do with production or theming on an episode. For example, "Karen's Virus" and "Bubbletown" are some of the earlier season 11 episodes to begin production, and were initially packaged as episode 225 in December 2016, but due to the former episode taking longer to produce than normal,[1] and the latter having delayed production and not being storyboarded until October 2017,[2] both were pushed back to 238b and 240a, respectively. Often times, the original packaging order will appear on TV schedules, guides, and even in episode synopses, as seen in the sources for the list below. Episodes sometimes air in such order during their original broadcast (ex. "Just One Bite" / "The Bully.")

The Patrick Star Show
- The Patrick Star Show had its second production season split in half to make a third broadcast season.[106] The show uses the updated Nickelodeon cartoon packaging number system from 2005 (which indicates an episode's season (#101) rather than using a normal counting method (#001, #002, #003, etc). Therefore, episodes beginning with "The Fun Bucket" use #3XX, instead of starting at #214 like they originally did, following "Time to Eat" / "Cleanin' House."

Trivia
General

The episode's South Korean title card, airing in its original package.
-
The episode's South Korean title card, airing in its original package.
-
The episode's pairing in South Korea, as seen on a Google Drive recording of an airing of the episode.
- South Korean EBS airings have the episodes "Idiot Box" and "Doing Time" paired, episodes that initially were packaged as episode 46. The episodes that are currently paired up with these segments ("Nasty Patty" and "Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy IV") didn't air on EBS.
- In the Season 4 Volume 1 DVD set, the original pairing of 70 was used ("Ghost Host" / "Wishing You Well") was used instead of the new one ("Chimps Ahoy / "Ghost Host"), thus causing "Chimps Ahoy" to not be featured on the set.
- The episodes "The Thing," "Hocus Pocus," "Born to Be Wild," "Best Frenemies," "The Pink Purloiner," and "Squid Wood" take up their original packaging number slots on the second set, swapped with their sister episodes.
- In the Castilian Spanish DVD version of the 87 pair, "Breath of Fresh Squidward" plays first as 87a, and "To Love a Patty" runs as 87b. This ordering is also seen on the Season 5 Volume 1 DVD set.
- The only episode numbers of season 11 to not be changed were "No Pictures Please," (221a) "Teacher's Pests," (222b) "Squid Noir," (224a) "ChefBob," (234b) and "Girls' Night Out," (240b).
-
"The Grill is Gone" acting as episode 238a in a Japanese recording of the episode airing on NHK in Google Drive.
-
"Appointment TV" acting as episode 239a in a Japanese recording of the episode airing on NHK in Google Drive.
- In Japan, the episodes taken up by 238 and 239a are what was in the original slot listed on the sitemap over the current pairings. "Karen's Virus" is also now 239b.
- "SpongeBob's Bad Habit" and "One Trick Sponge," were paired in 2018, despite not making a full 22-minute package.
