Welcome to my second sandbox! I use this to test editing stuff.
- This game was first being tested in 2021.
- On 2022, Roblox appeared to be removing many of the unofficial Nickelodeon games including unofficial SpongeBob games on the platform via DMCA takedowns filed by Paramount. An example of one of the removed games is called The Spongy Construction Project by @spongeis5 which was taken down on June 25, 2022. Many fans were upset and angry at Paramount and Nickelodeon for removing the game. The game was high effort and so popular as it wasn't a official SpongeBob game. It was targeted. @spongeis6 posted a tweet on Twitter to help get a license for his copyrighted game. People can play Nickverse after the unofficial SpongeBob games were deleted. Gamefam Studios is currently developing a official SpongeBob game for Roblox.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8]

AfterToons is a daily animated afternoon block that began on April 10, 2023,[1] showcasing episodes of Nickelodeon series, including SpongeBob SquarePants and The Patrick Star Show.
Production
On March 17, 2023, Nickelodeon released a promo with Nate (from Big Nate) announcing the block, featuring clips pasted together from older network bumpers and snippets from various series. No exact release date was given out, although it was said that the block will be "coming soon."[3]
Two weeks later on March 31, 2023, another promo for the event was released, highlighting the same animated series as before. However, Nickelodeon stated that they would be releasing "Brand New Toons" on the block as well, likely referring to the upcoming premieres of episodes from The Patrick Star Show,[4] Big Nate,[5] and (according to the promo) the American debuts of various Smurfs segments. A date for the block was revealed as well, with the launch date proposed to be April 10, 2023.[1]

Parody videos
SpongeBob in Real Life
A parody of SpongeBob SquarePants made by JChaseFilms. It is about SpongeBob and Patrick meeting a human and hanging out with him on the surface. There are 10 episodes in length, three of which are parts of SpongeBob In Real Life The Movie.[1] Yaparatv is now making it as a CGI series. But JChaseFilms makes videos with the characters in real life nowadays.[2] A 4 minute sequel was made on December 2022 for Christmas about SpongeBob, Squidward, and Patrick getting their houses in real life for Christmas in a Christmas story.[3] JChaseFilms also reanimated many movie trailers as SpongeBob/Nickelodeon versions. One of them being Space Jam: A Nicktoons Legacy.[4] It is a parody of Space Jam: A New Legacy. JChaseFilms also reanimated The Patrick Star Show intro in real life.[5] It was also similar to the intro of Fuller House. Later they made a animation based of The Cosmic Shake video game.[6]
SpongeBob in Minecraft
A SpongeBob parody made by DentoinFilms. It is about the two finding themselves trapped inside Minecraft, the popular sandbox game. They attempt to find Squidward, in which it is successful, but it is revealed that he is a Minecraft squid. They intend to build a block of sand, and then proceed to ride horses in which they nearly fall off of a cliff, and soon find zombies. Steve kills the zombies and scares SpongeBob and Patrick away. After, the two decide to ride Gary home. Back at their house, they find many seeds which are being unused. Later, the seeds grow into a large tree and SpongeBob and Patrick become stuck. They escape, but in reality they are dreaming, that they built a castle, and rode horses with Sandy.
SpongeBob SquarePants in China
A parody of SpongeBob SquarePants by Boomchicago. The series takes place in China, using edited clips from The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie. The video portrays SpongeBob going to work and then having a conversation with Patrick about labor laws. SpongeBob and Patrick are given features such as stereotypical Asian clothing, accents, and facial appearances, as well as focusing on stereotypical Chinese laws. Sadly, the original March 2007 upload of the video has been taken down by ViacomCBS due to a copyright claim. Thankfully, there is a 2010 re-upload of the video that still remains on YouTube.
There is also a sequel to the video, which mainly features Mr. Krabs telling SpongeBob about changing demands by the Government. Unlike the original, which used edited clips of The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, the video was fully animated by the uploader.
SpongeBush SquarePrez
SpongeBush SquarePrez is a YouTube video in which SpongeBob, depicted as President George W. Bush, says that based on intelligence from Patrick, Squidward has weapons in his house. Therefore, he was just about to bomb it when Patrick informed him that they were actually Krabby Patties, not weapons. However, his house was bombed anyway. It ends with Squidward saying "And this guy got elected twice?" The entire short is an allegory for the 2003 Invasion of Iraq. The uploader continued to upload continuous parts of SpongeBush SquarePrez soon after.
SpongeBob SickPants
SpongeBob SickPants is an animated SpongeBob parody that was posted on to Newgrounds and YouTube on August 16, 2008 by Oney. The video became infamous for its terms of gore such as murder and cannibalism, gaining over a million of views. The original video that was posted on to YouTube has been taken down by the creator to avoid demonotization, but the original video that was posted on to Newgrounds is still up to date and many copies of the video can be found on YouTube from around 2009 to the early 2010s.
Lego SpongeBob
Lego SpongeBob is a series of videos made by anyone who owns Lego SpongeBob sets. Hundreds of videos have now been uploaded on YouTube mainly for kids and adults to watch. Many Lego SpongeBob videos are created with original ideas, though some are based on actual episodes using the episodes' same sound effects, actions, etc. These episodes include "Pat No Pay," "The Krusty Plate," "Krusty Krab Training Video," "Big Sister Sam," and many others. An example of a playlist of Lego SpongeBob episodes:[7]
YouTube Poops
Hundreds of these edited videos, generally known by the community as YouTube Poops (although sometimes given other names) have been posted on YouTube in the site's lifetime. They are made up of clips from many different shows, movies, music, games, etc., and other edited ideas the creator may want to add. SpongeBob SquarePants being perhaps the most popular with full episodes due to the show's massive success.
These videos are known for featuring bleeping sounds and/or bad word clips from TV shows, movies and songs when the characters talk, chaining together bits and pieces of dialog to make characters say something different (most of them being obscenities), adding clips, cut-outs and sounds from other TV shows, or sometimes with others such as random images and songs to make viewers laugh. However, be warned, many of these videos have some obscenities and mature content, so viewer discretion is advised.
Many old YouTube Poop videos (mostly those ranging from 2007/2008 when these jokes were at their most popular) include Luigi from the Super Mario video game series by Nintendo in one way or another and have "Weegee" in the title. The edited version of these episodes seem to have the role of SpongeBob be a completely different character, known most times as Spingebill, and is portrayed as psychopathic and mean.
The grand majority of these SpongeBob YouTube Poops gather a large amount of views, with certain videos such as "The Sky Had A Weegee!" and "Pride Patties" gathering over 10 million and 12 million individual views, respectively, making them some of the most popular SpongeBob videos on the web. The most common episode used for many YTPs is "Squid's Day Off"
There are also other types of SpongeBob YouTube Poops (YTPs for short), and these are known as YTPMVs, short for YouTube Poop Music Videos. Although obviously not exclusive to SpongeBob, as all YTPs are, YTPMVs consist of using small sounds and clips from various media to recreate songs and melodies (with the most common example being video game music). SpongeBob has seen various YTPMVs based on several episodes, with the most common noise being SpongeBob's laughter since it can be pitch-shifted to allow for different varied sounds and melodies.
SpongeBob Poops have also gained a lot of popularity on the Brazilian Web, with several episodes being "pooped" (edited) by several "poopers" (anyone who makes YTPs). The poops themselves normally include foul language and references to Brazilian popular culture, which normally attracts views from parents who find the inappropriate videos on accident. One of the most popular SpongeBob poopers on the web, only known as "Chinelin," has made countless videos that would be very good examples of Brazilian SpongeBob YTPs and their appeal. However, Chinelin closed his YouTube account due to personal reasons, and most of his poops are now gone. There were some select few poops that were archived since before the account closed and that were re-uploaded onto the site by Chinelin's fans, one of which is the YTPMV cited earlier in the article.
Unfortunately, many of these have been recently taken down by Paramount Global due to copyright claims. However, YouTube Poopers attempt to fight for their creations staying on YouTube, and some videos have successfully made it past the claims. 3 popular YouTube Poopers that edit SpongeBob are Trudermark (clean), jallerbo (dirty), and coolcat001100 (partly clean).
Squidward Hardcore

The hardcore itself can be watched on ICryInMySleep's YouTube page, and it follows a specific number of players using Squidward and Squidward-related Minecraft skins whilst playing through MineZ. The original upload was taken down by YouTube due to copyright reasons, but was re-uploaded by the same creator in 2016. The second video "Patrick Gets in Shape" has a deformed Patrick getting in shape by running around his house. The third video "Plankton Knows," is simply Plankton manically laughing with flashing lights and colors.
The first of these three videos became popular as a now deleted YouTube video passed it off as a lost short called "SpongeBob and the Cave."

The first episode, featuring SpongeBob fighting his enemy Bubble Bass, was uploaded.
Thereafter, several artists have too made their own anime version of SpongeBob SquarePants. Ironically, a video called "What If SpongeBob Were Anime!?" was uploaded by the SpongeBob SquarePants Official on May 25, 2019. The video involves anime sounding music and characters fighting clips from the series. Later SpongeBob: Reimagined aired a anime episode called "If SpongeBob was an Anime" on November 22, 2022. The second video was made four years later, and was almost the same except the roles were switched. The third was made in 2014 and was about SpongeBob killing Mr. Krabs for not giving him his paycheck.
The fourth video was uploaded but later taken down by ViacomCBS, but it was reuploaded in 2015 by someone else, then reuploaded by panchitomatrix in 2021, but with a few modifications. The plot involves SpongeBob killing Squidward because he thought Sandy was cheating on him for Squidward, but she pretended Squidward was doing something wrong. At the end Squidward falls off a building and dies, before an unexpected plot twist reveals that he was innocent and Squilliam was actually the one doing it. The fifth video was another SpongeBob vs Mr. Krabs video, uploaded in 2017. In the video, Mr. Krabs wanted to kill SpongeBob since the latter stabbed Squidward with a spatula, but then he claimed he was "asking for it," because Squidward was rushing SpongeBob. These videos are not intended for children, as most of them have swear words and blood/gore. The person who animated these also makes videos like SpongeBob in Paranormal Activity and SpongeBob robs a bank.
Violent SpongeBob
These videos depict SpongeBob committing various acts of violence such as SpongeBob Kills Patrick and SpongeBob Goes Crazy With An AK-47. These videos are very bloody and graphic. The purpose of these videos is entertainment, but they sometimes offend some viewers. Other videos besides these show SpongeBob killing characters from other children's cartoons, video games, movies, etc.

The entire series has been taken down by ViacomCBS, leading the other YouTubers to continue the series through fan-made spinoffs and sequels such as "The Return of SlendyBob," which contains various video game characters, so that it doesn't get blocked by ViacomCBS.

Much like Piggy, the survivor has to escape from the killer SpongeBob before time runs out and the killer SpongeBob has to get all the players before the timer runs out. On January 27, 2021, Sponge got taken down by Viacom. The games main character was SpongeBob, with the same design of SpongeBob but with red pupils, a creepy smiling face and his spatula. It is known that Viacom most likely took down the game. As so far, only five chapters were released.
The game was planning to be recreated by "Soapy" but according to the creators of Sponge, the plans to bring the game back is unfortunately cancelled probably because of the redesigning going to take lots of hard work and because Piggy is a dead game.

SpongeBob Movie Adventure DX: Director's Cut is a parody game of The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie and its video game based off the movie made by Shovelware Studios on Roblox. It is a fan-made obby that has some of the levels from the movie. It was taken down by Paramount some time on 2021 along with the other unofficial SpongeBob games due to copyright violations but was later brought back by Shovelware Restored along with their other games just like The Spongy Construction Project. However, Shovelware Studios did make some references to SpongeBob in their experiences like the Minions obby based of the Despicable Me franchise where Patrick can be seen stuck in gum in the Disco obby and the "My eyes" quote by Fred when you get seen by the Disco balls and the "My leg!" quote when you fall down from the ladder. There was also a quiz where Squidward can be seen dabbing. In the obby based of the Cars franchise, there is a sign that says it is 3000 miles to Shell City, making a reference to Shell City from The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie. Not just the SpongeBob references but they also referenced the Super Mario franchise in their games like the shells of the Koopa Troopas. This also referenced Floyd and Lloyd as cars with their gas station. Later Shovelware Studios released the Shovelware's Brain Game experience which also has SpongeBob-level humor.[30]

Most games have SpongeBob mods, with some of the most overused ones being Minecraft and Friday Night Funkin'. There are also mods using SpongeBob games (such as Battle for Bikini Bottom or Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl). One example of a mod is the Learning X Pibby X Friday Night Funkin' ones.[32]

Trivia
General
- A lot of the videos from the YouTube channel that show clips from episodes from seasons 1-8 (excluding "Truth or Square" and "It's a SpongeBob Christmas!") incorrectly crop the video to fit a 16:9 aspect ratio, despite the episodes only being made for the 4:3 aspect ratio.
- Videos uploaded before the channel's launch date of January 15, 2019 were originally uploaded on the Nickelodeon YouTube channel, and were later merged to the SpongeBob YouTube channel.
- The channel currently has more than 5 million subscribers in total.
- This channel currently has more than 4 billion views in total.
Errors
- Some videos have had several errors and information taken from fan websites which they used information from Encyclopedia SpongeBobia. This makes the channel not viable for getting official names or confirming information.
- Unofficial names from articles were used in family tree videos such as the unofficial name for Squidward's teenage cousin was used in the video about the Squidward Tentacles family tree which was called "Squeeze" which was a name that users made up.
- In the family tree videos, they used images from Encyclopedia SpongeBobia. Such as the Todd SquarePants scene in the SpongeBob family tree video where the image was used from the Todd SquarePants article from Encyclopedia SpongeBobia as the images were the same.
- The official YouTube channel accidently used clips from episodes before their airdates such as the 1 Second From Every SpongeBob Episode! where a clip from "Plankton's Old Chum" was used by mistake. The same thing happened in "SpongeBob UnderPants 👖 Every Underwater Underwear Moment" where clips from "Ride Patrick Ride" and "Sir Urchin and Snail Fail" were used accidently before their airdates which are currently unknown.
