Спанч Боб Шаршы Шалбар (Spanč bob şarşí şalbar) is the 1st Kazakh dub of SpongeBob SquarePants. It is part of International SpongeBob SquarePants.

History

The production of this dub along with several other dubs of Nickelodeon programs was announced in a press release by MTV Networks International on July 22, 2010[1]. It ran until an unknown date, possibly in 2012, which was when KTK's license for the show expired.

Following the end of this dub until the release of the 2nd dub on April 5, 2022, the show only played in Russian in Kazakhstan on NTK, although it is rumored that NTK may have aired a Kazakh version for a short period of time.

Trivia

  • Coincidentally, in the same month of this dub's premiere, it was announced that a Kazakh dub would be made for the TV channel Balapan and was planned to be released in 2011 along with several other American cartoons. The dub was likely cancelled.
