• The dub was originally set to premiere on February 1, 2000 at 10:30pm, but for unknown reasons its release date was moved to February 7.
• Despite completing dubbing, Nickelodeon Latin America would often held an episode years after the previous episode aired.
  • "Arrgh!" and "Rock Bottom" completed dubbing in 2000, but aired in 2006.
  • "Gary Takes a Bath" completed dubbing in 2001, but aired in 2009.
  • "The Sponge Who Could Fly" completed dubbing in 2003, but aired in 2006.
  • "Hide and Then What Happens?" and "Shellback Shenanigans" completed dubbing in 2011, but aired in 2013.
