Trivia

  • Squidward's Spanish name, Calamardo, is based off calamari, a type of squid. The Spanish word for squid is also calamar.
  • A voice-over will usually read out any text that is on screen.
  • In the first few episodes, Sandy was called by her original English name.
  • Most of the voice actors have also appeared in other Venezuelan-made Spanish dubs and in some Mexican dubs.
  • Many characters have been recast several times due to pay disputes or actors leaving Venezuela due to the country's political climate.
    • The only characters to respect their voices since season 1 are only Squidward and the Flying Dutchman.
    • Patchy the Pirate although he made his debut in the season 2, he did not change his voice actor either.
