Bob Esponja is the Latin American Spanish dub of SpongeBob SquarePants. It is part of International SpongeBob SquarePants.

Este es un dibujo animado sobre una esponja de mar llamada Bob Esponja. Bob vive en el fondo del Océano Pacífico, cerca de la isla de Atol de Bikini, y siempre se está metiendo en líos, junto a su amigo estrella de mar Patricio. (This is a cartoon about a sea sponge called SpongeBob. SpongeBob lives at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean, near the island of Bikini Atoll, and is always getting into trouble, along with his friend Patrick Star.)

  • Squidward's Spanish name, Calamardo, is based off calamari, a type of squid. The Spanish word for squid is also calamar.
  • A voice-over will usually read out any text that is on screen.
  • In the first few episodes, Sandy was called by her original English name.
  • Most of the voice actors have also appeared in other Venezuelan-made Spanish dubs and in some Mexican dubs.
  • Many characters have been recast several times due to pay disputes or actors leaving Venezuela due to the country's political climate.
