Channel 5 uses the same episode prints as Nickelodeon UK, however, they go through a separate compliance process. Therefore, occasionally the Channel 5 airings will have edits that are not in Nickelodeon UK airings, and in some cases, scenes that were already edited in Nickelodeon UK airings will be edited again by Channel 5.

EDIT (05/04/25): Apparently it's because of the effect that plays shortly after the opening credits, where it zooms out from the checkerboard. I put the episode's opening into a tool that claims to do a PSE check, and it came up as a risk on there too. - ↑ Violence and imitable behaviour. "Make him turn blue" and Sandy doing just that is cut. When Santa puts candy canes up his nostrils, the UK version abruptly cuts to a shot of Sandy's family, before then cutting back to Santa.
